COVID Resources for Visit Southeast Montana Tourism

As we all know, these are strange and unprecedented times. At Visit Southeast Montana tourism, we are doing our part to flatten the curve and #SlowtheSpread of COVID-19.

In addition, we created – and will continually update – a resource page for both travelers and tourism partners alike.

When you are ready to explore Southeast Montana, this is a place you will be welcomed. We are proud of this region and the people who call this place home. We look forward to seeing you #OutHereMT.

For Travelers

The state of Montana is now open for visitors, however we ask that you check with your destination about local guidelines as many cities, counties and reservations have different restrictions. If you are sick, please stay home, Southeast Montana will still be here. And please remember, not all services will be open – we suggest calling ahead to any business at this time. You can find more information about the travel alert in Montana on the state’s website. If you are planning future travel, we would love to assist. See www.southeastmontana.com or email info@southeastmontana.com. We are also available at 406-294-5270 or 1-800-346-1876 for questions, itinerary suggestions and general information.

Effective immediately, Montanans and non-resident travelers are required to wear masks when visiting public indoor places. This mandate includes:

  2. Children over age 5; masks are highly recommended for children ages 2 – 4.
  3. Outdoor gatherings of 50 people or more where social distancing is not possible.
